We look at a couple of different aspects including:
- Potential - fast tracked in 2 years (both into People Leadership or Strategic Role)
- Learning Agility
We also look for a number of characteristics such as:
dealing with ambiguity & complexity (shown to be a potential derailer for HIPOs)
Emotional intelligence and ability to self-regulate
Living our organisation values
Investing in others
Open to feedback and change
We also pose some thought provokers to help our leaders identify hidden talent (the quiet achievers) in our business.
