Is it better to use annualized attrition rates or quarterly attrition rates?

Does anyone have a recommendation on whether it is better to use annualized attrition rates or quarterly attrition rates?

It depends on your employee growth rate. Annualized is fine with a relatively static employee count. Quarterly is much better if your employee growth is over 20-30% per annum.

We share both rates in order to have a high-level (annualized) and granular (quarterly) view. This also allows us to account for ebbs and flows in hiring that we tend to see year over year.
